Belgian tv is reporting four Ilyushin IL76s stuck at Ostend airport (OST/EBOS) due to the new rules.
Apparently no-one told them to get out of there while they still could.

It doesn't make sense. I would have thought that the Belgian authorities would at least allow the aircraft to depart! Since it is not unusual for a gaggle of IL-76s to be parked at OST for a number of days, even weeks, I think someone has jumped to the wrong conclusion. Anyway, didn't these operators get a further reprieve from Belgium and a number of other countries? I tell you what though, if the IL-76 operations at OST come to a halt - the airport will kiss 75% of its income goodbye!
