Cheers!!!

We fell out of the sky in severe CAT at 370 once in aTristar-200, well within the Lockheed performance parameters.

Well HotDog, if you get too slow, it'll happen. Keep at .86 (the design speed for the aeroplane) and no problem.

A -200 will pop right up to 350 @ max gross, 370 ain't far behind and if you fell out of the sky, you were most defineatly going way too slow!

It was a jet upset in severe turbulence in Fukuoka FIR. We were cruising at LRC as per performance data. We did reduce power when we accelerated to M.9 in standing waves. It was the worst turbulence any of us on that flight deck ever experienced and the upset most certainly wasn't caused by going too slow.

Glueball: very interesting web site. I was happy to see so many 727's still in service. I am not a pilot. My favorite commercial airliner has always been the 3-holer. I wonder how long they'll continue on? Anyone out there have any experiences to share? What kind of aircraft is she to fly? Still capable by today's standards?
