What happened after the controller was murdered in the offices at Mulhouse?
Was anyone ever caught for it?

Not that I know...

Police know who did it. They never found him.
He must be abroad, in a country where he won't be caught...

Here is the most recent piece of news I could find (in German only, sorry but English is not an official language of Kanton Basel :p):

Flughafenlotsen-Mörder weiterhin spurlos verschwunden - News Basel: Stadt - bazonline.ch (http://bazonline.ch/basel/stadt/FlughafenlotsenMoerder-weiterhin-spurlos-verschwunden/story/29614751)

As of May 7 the prime suspect, Karim Quali, is still at large and nobody even knows if he's still alive.

Cheers,

Were there any rumours around what led to the murder? Crime of passion? Revenge for bad vectoring? If the prime suspect really is the murderer, he had been suspended from active service because he exhibited psychotic behavior and had threatened several co-workers. The poor sod that was murdered was probably just in the wrong place at the worst possible time. :(

Here's another report, from DéFrancisation (http://www.defrancisation.com/meurtre-du-controleur-aerien-de-mulhouse-karim-ouali-aderfi-recherche/), French only I'm afraid.

Seems to have been worried about the lizards taking over. He must have seen some of the things crawling around idisguised as management

Ressurecting this thread, another year on.

Any progress in catching the guy?
