For a country pumping 1-2 million USD a day in oil (at a conservative estimate!!) I find it entertaining that they have to shut down their radar service to the world for 'maintenance' seriously, 80nm between all departures (about 10 minutes!!) means carnage for the GCC, absolute joke and my genuine thoughts going out to the ATC mates trying to manage it in UAE and Bahrain! Having said that my Air Berlin flight is loaded up and slid 45mins-1 hour. Yaaaaawn....
