View Full Version : Enstrom 280 Insurance Question

Hi maybe looking to buy an Enstrom f280 or f28f in a couple of months and at the moment doing some research at to the price of insurance . Will be used for hours building although my time up to now has been on Robinson R22s and when finish i will sell it on say in 6 months later . Any enstrom owners out there with a ball park figure as to what they pay now i know there are many variables involved . Any advice either posted or in a pm ?

My last premium was £8,500 for full cover hull insured for £60,000. Haywards:ok:

I pay 7 percent of hull value here in Idaho. But I've only got 150 hrs tt.....

Ouch. How much of that premium goes to hull and how much to liability and 3rd party?

Depends on hull value and also if you include betterment on the policy. For a nice FX that is worth around £100K expect a premium of around £9-10K per annum.

I was in a group owned F28F worth about £100k. premium for any pilot was £9,000. Call Haywards, they have most of the UK market. 0207-902-7800.
