B1900, please help! :)

Dear Fellow Pilots,

I am going to do the B1900 type rating in Midrand, South Africa.

How is it living in midrand? any suggestions on guesthouse to stay for 2 months?

Any tips for the type rating itself?

First of all, are you doing the rating in Midrand or Lanseria, I am not sure whtether there are any 1900 operators in Midrand????? I live in Hartbeespoort and if you are doing the rating at Lanseria, there are a couple of place which I can recommend. Who are you doing the rating with?:)

I am doing the type rating in grand central aerodrome, midrand and with Simuflight, they have b1900, c208 and king...

What are the living expenses like?

What accommodation do you recommend if you know any...

Oh, I forgot to add that I am doing the flight test for the licence validation in lanseria flight school which is in lanserias' airport :8 . But I am looking for accommodation within the radius of Grand Central Aerodrome
