Anyone has any idea about conversion to easa.İf you have an JAA licence. But the country which issued your licence is not a member of easa now.

What should we do ? how can we convert our licence to easa. Please give me some idea about the option...

Best Regards...

I don't think you need to do anything. Even quite a few EASA countries will not switch to EASA licensing and have optet out for the time being.

Not sure how that works since it's not optional for EU states. The whole point of EASA is that it stops the JAA nonsense of countries signing up but not implementing.

Opt out rules exist up until 2017 for different parts of the new EASA rule package. licensing can be opted out until 2015 as far as i know. My home country, in which EASA has its headquarter, has so far opted out of licensing at least until 2013, but that may change later on.
