Does anyone have experience using either SkyDemon or Air Navigation Pro (for iPad) when in South-East Asia (i.e. Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines)?

What does the map coverage say, for each app?

Sky Demon currently has no charts for SE Asia. New Zealand is the nearest coverage.

OK, so Air Navigation Pro it is. Thanks for the info.

I have been using AirNavPro (ANP) on an Ipad for the last six months flying around Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore with the free maps available from the map store.
A recent upgrade to the maps has made them very usable, complete with most of the smaller airfields and basic elevation data.
Nok airfield (VTCY) is also listed now J
Next time you are at Nok, I can give you the userdefined waypoint database for all the other airfields and the VFR mandatory reporting points for Thailand.
