Hey all, i was sitting thinking today about this, and i would like to get everyones thoughts on it....., I would say that i am quite good at studying and subjects tend to sink in pretty quickly. Now this may be a long shot question, and to some people it may sound stupid but i will give it a go, i know that the ATPL Theory require A LOT of studying, and there is a A LOT to learn, not to mention experience etc, but........, would it be wise to start studying the ATPL Theory while still learning PPL?

Whats are your views on that?

There is nothing inherently wrong in commencing informal study for the ATPL exams before obtaining a PPL but you may not enrol on an approved course of training.

No.

Put all your effort into the PPL. The effort is needed anyhow, do it all in the right order.

If you are a good student, you'll probably take no longer to study for the ATPL groundschool than to build the hours anyhow.
