Bit of a shame. Going to be difficult for people in the north getting to LEI now as only TCX do it and its a charter flight.
Monarch operate twice weekly scheduled flights from Birmingham to Almeria from March to October on Monday and Thursday.:)

Also BMIbaby fly to Almeria from East Midlands so probably a bit closer than Birmingham.

BHX is 8 miles further from Liverpool City Centre:8
Lets just hope WW are still flying at all in the Summer! :}

BHX i find is quite far from Liverpool. Monarch used to do MAN-LEI but they dropped it.

Jet2 used to fly there from Leeds/Bradford but they dropped the route at the beginning of November 2009 after only 2 years, so apparently only a very limited market for this destination.
