Ladies & Gents, this is a prayer for some assistance. Doing the public address speech for the pax, I tend to deviate a bit from the company manual, just to make sure that our esteemed pax actually listen to what we would like them to do and not to do. :)
The deviations are going flawlessly in Dutch and in English, but I must admit to having some problems with the french bits. If I post the bits that I would like translated in italics, is there a kind soul somewhere out there who'd care to translate so I can stop making a total fool of myself in front of the SLF??
re. the flight safety demonstration: bla .bla......bla.....now I know that this is very very boring and I can't make it anymore ineresting either, but it might save your life if an emergency comes up, and your newspaper certainly will not.....
re. moblie telephones:
a moble phone on stand-by, even if you are not talking into it, will search for contact with a ground station. This searching can interfere with the navigational equipment of our aircraft. This is a potentially dangerous situation. We dont want it, you don't want it, so please make sure that your phone is switched off completely
I know translating stuff is boring so I will quite understand if nobody does it, but will be all the more grateful if someone should take the time.

PS: An Italian translation would be wondeful as well by the way, my Italian version of the above is even more ludicrous than the french one!
