Hi Folks,

I need to pass my radio telephony operator exam soon in the UK and i would like to know which examiner is approved for the VHF and HF exam in the London area. I downloaded the latest up to date list of examiners from the CAA website and it looks like the London Met University is not on the list anymore. Any other input on that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you have downloaded the latest list, then you have as much information as anyone else is likely to have. If you are arriving by air then one closer to the airport may be more suitable. White Waltham is about as close as you can get to Heathrow.

There are a number at Wycombe Air Park - Leon Smith at Helicopter Services, and Kevan Dearman and Alistair Stevenson at Wycombe Air Centre

Probably about £30 or so for a cab from Heathrow

if you want both HF and VHF watch-out..... not all RTF Examiners are the same. HW Harry forgot to put "Airways Flying Club" at Wycombe. There used to be someone there that did HF as well as VHF. Why not call them and they'll tell you. Over & Out.
