Good evening everyone just some help if anyone can answer,

A crew has a check in 23:45 local for a 4 sector flight the crew is augmented and will be flying through WOCL what is the allowed FDP? as its very vague ...........

Augnented crew 16 hours as per eu-ops but does the augmented crew cover the Flying through the WOCL or is it reduced not clear in sub part Q

I understand that if the FDP stars in the WOCL then 100% of the encroachment up to 2 hrs is reduced on max FDP. If the FDP ends in or fully encompasses the WOCL then 50% of the encroachment must be reduced from the max FDP.

In your example the FDP starts before WOCL but will fully encompass it.

03:59 in WOCL and allowable FDP is 10:00, so must be onblocks by 09:45
