Im coming up to the 2 years at which I need to revalidate my (CAA Issued) JAA PPL based on experience.
I have done the minimum hours and the hour flight with an instructor.
I need to get a JAA Examiner to check the details and sign my license.

Question - Do I still need to get the examiner to complete a CAA SG119 Form (Or similar) and send it to the UK CAA.
I live in Switzerland so although I can find a JAA examiner they are probably not familiar with which CAA form is required.

Can somebody can clarify which form I should get them to complete.
Thanks in advance

Yes, your Swiss JAA examiner should complete the SRG\1119 form. That form is then sent to the CAA.

What you also should include is a copy of the examiners license/authorization. The examiner is most likely not known to the CAA, so by including a copy of his paperwork the CAA knows that everything is in Ordnung.
