I was just using flightradar to check on the progress of a relative's flight home for Christmas and I happened to notice something rather strange.

Lufthansa flight LH332 is scheduled to fly from Frankfurt to Venice and yet, there it was, apparently happily approaching Heathrow although, according to the Mode S data, the destination is Venice VCE.

So has it been hijacked, is it lost, or is it a simple mistake in the data?

I did notice a few similar errors on other flights so I imagine there must be some simple explanation.

Edited just to say that, as I type, it is in the hold, probably over Lambourne.

don't know how flightradar24.com gets its data but LH332 is scheduled to leave FRA at 21:25 German time (your post is at 18:30 German time). Also if you look closely it shows as airline Contactair and Fokker 100 as type. Right now Squawk is 0630...

So with probability of 99.99999999999999999% nothing's happening - if you want action turn on the telly (Edit: And by "turn on the telly" I mean some action flick and not the news)
