Hello!

I found this offer:
Crew Operating Manual (~180 pages), Airplane Flight Manual(~90 pages) and two folders with illustriations/performance graps (~270 pages) of the Lockheed Super Constellation.
According to the seller it's all original (from 1951) and in a good condition.
The price he is asking for is 350€ (455$ / 293GBP).
I tried to find other, similar offers but with no success so far.
Is it really worth the price? Are there still many of them available or is this a rare chance to get one of these?
Anyone out here who is familiar with this kind of collectible? It would be the perfect christmas present for my dad... :ok:

Thanks for your help!

No simple answer as it depends on a number of factors. Who published them (manufacturer or operator) and the condition being the most important. I'm not sure but it seems the folders with performance graphs ought to belong to either the Flight Manual or the Operations manual. As hundreds of these aircraft were made there should be an ample quantity of their manuals about. The price quoted seems rather steep to me especially as you can get them on CD for £20 or less. Try www.Flight-Manuals-on-CD.Com (http://www.Flight-Manuals-on-CD.Com) Ltd in New Zealand if that appeals.
