When does Germany become JAR-FCL 1 compliant? :D

So far, I have heard a lot of unbelievable stories of professional pilots who tried to convert their EU/FAA license into the dear LBA license. As far as I know there is a deadline, when the LBA has to become JAR-FCL 1 compliant.

Anybody know?

This question is not only UNTHINKABLE, it´s also UNANSWERABLE !

The whole JAR/FCL problem is finished by the LBA but struck somewhere between the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Justice.
Germany shall become JAR-FCL 1 compliant on the 1st of July, hopefully 2002. (If you take a look at the German Aero Club Homepage, they still believe it will be 1st of July, 1999, so much for the slow LBA and the quick and member friendly Club :D )Remember there are elections in September next year, so any problem not solved before will take until 2004.
