I hope this is OK in this forum. Departed Chiang Rai for Bangkok yesterday in Thai Airways A300-600 as SLF, as usual had a view of the back of the wing and was surprised to see no apparent flap set for takeoff. Looked like slats were deployed though but from row 54 it's not easy to tell. Passenger load was around 80-90% at a guess.
My question is: Is zero apparent flap with slats alone a normal setting for this aircraft?
From my seat the takeoff appeared to be quite a high thrust setting and a very good rate of climb to at least 10,000'.
