Is Gandalf Airlines going to survive beyond 15 December?

I read in Flight International a few wekks back that if Gandalf Airlines didn't find a considerable amount of cash they would be shutting down after 15 December 2001.

The article also stated that the agreement between Alitalia and Air France didn't leave much hope for Gandalf Airlines to continue flying for Air France.

Can anyone shed more light on all this?

Unfortunately with a poor load factor an airline can't last very long even if the film The Lord of the Rings is out.

By the way JRR Tolkien's family have sued Gandalf Airlines for using the name Gandalf without paying the rights...
