Just a few questions that seem as tough to get answers to as getting blood out of a stone!!
*** what is the pay like for thai airways pilots? - any figours to quote would be great.
*Why do thai airways only hire thai nationals only for there pilot positions?
*No disrespect, but how can an airline like thai afford to buy 12 777's and a similar number of A330'S.Indeed they were one of the first carriers to enter the 777 in 1996.What gives???
*What is the mandatory retirement age for thai airways pilots?
*Why are Air tickets with thai airways from europe to bangkok so god damn expensive!
*Anyone got any insight into what they are like to work for as an airline pilot? - safety good etc?
thanks.

I was once told "All things Thai are negoitable".
This I have found to be true.
It's very easy to buy a new car but try selling your old one. If you are a state run enterprise this can be true for aircraft. Half a dozen 146s parked at BKK for ages, DC9s hidden out at Utapio.
Stated policy International fares subsidise Domestic ones.
