I certainly would apply if I had the required licences. Waiting for NATS to reopen is like asking 'how long is a piece of string' and it seems to be dragging on and on. Wouldn't be surprised if more people start going down the alternate route and go private. I had a visit to LPL Tower about 3 years ago, loved it, great working environment and everyone seemed happy.
