Hello,
I'm currently looking over some MCC material and just noticing the various acronym's that get used throughout flight to help us pilot's cover all relevant briefs to complete a checklist.
I have come across RIBETS= Route, Instruments, Brief, Emergency, Taxi, SID. Which are done prior to engine start.
I've also come across DALTA for descent planning etc and FISC for the approach sector of flight. Only problem is I can't seem to find a clear explanation for the ones above.
I could hazard a guess at them but hopefully these might "ring a bell" with someone and could give a definitive view of what they actually stand for.
Hopefully this not a silly question:}
