Urgent!! Which Visa for India?

Embassy closed now until Tuesday so unable to ask there.

Which Visa is required for UK Aircrew visiting India. Tourist/Business/Other??

If you are travelling to India as operating crew, you do not require a Visa.

If you are travelling there as a tourist, you will require a Tourist Visa, regardless of your profession.

If you are travelling there for an airline interview/assessment, i.e. you are a professional pilot, technically you require a Business Visa. The Business Visa has a rather lengthy processing time, and many pilots travelling to India for airline interview/assessment purposes simply get a Tourist Visa (I did, with no questions asked).

If you are expat working in India, you need an employment visa

Will be traveling there as operating crew and staying for a few days and as a UK citizen i am pretty sure we need some sort of visa, but thanks for the info already posted.
