I have an aircraft and want to undertake a bit of aerial photography. What are the requirements for the aircraft and pilot?

A broad topic, but I can give you a few clues.

In the UK (and the rest of JAR/EASA land) if you want to sell your photos, you must hold a CPL or ATPL. It counts as aerial work, so you cannot do it with only a PPL.

Equally important, some states prohibit aerial photography. To find out which, you could contact your country's embassies in the states you are interested in.

Thanks for your reply. Have the prof licence but I suppose the a/c would have to be "public transport"?..Based in France, UK reg!
