Thank you for being so helpful with you reply to a direct question. Despite having being on the Puma for 7 years I still have no idea where the normal place/time is.....

You've been on Puma for 7 years, and you still don't know?

I must add, your date of joining PPrune seems rather "fishy" to me :suspect:

'It's only me' is not the only one. I was Pumoid groundcrew at Gutersloh '86-'90, & I have no idea of the details of this social fracas.

Is it a bit like joining the Masons? Do I need to shave a leg or something?

Anyone who's current or ex-Puma are more than welcome, its surprising some of the faces that turn up.

Seldom - you're far too young to be a grandfather, surely!

I am way too young to be a grandfather but the swines have done it to me anyhow, all the love and affection I showed and this is how they treat me............:):):)

Philrigger show a bit of respect - there's no such animal as a 'Loadie' on helicopters.
I presume you mean a 'Crewman' or you really do need to get some time in....;)

Might I suggest that at your age you may not be that well suited to all those bright lights and all that noise in London :E

Few of us had CM Brevet's on our name patches. Got my first one for the '82 Tiger Meet (remember that one lsh) and when I left in 2004 I still had a CM brevet on my name badge. In fact the only LM brevet I had was on me No.1 uniform.

Hi Mate!

First guy I saw with a "CM" brevet was Duncan McD, asked him where he got it?

He made it out of his "QM" one, looked pretty good too!

As it happens I do know where/when it is; as with the Benson do, I was trying to help those that don't know by actually getting getting a proper reply. Guess you are not capable.

Now I know why I left.

Sadly had to leave early (work) but managed to chat with a few old and young mates. Beer going down well, promising to be another good session.

Hope you all have a good night and sore heads in the morning.
