Hi All ..
Need to pick brains again please regarding 737-200 descent procedure ..
Unless I am reading wrong, The FCTM (and other sources) appear to be contradictory..
They state ..
Descend at M0.74/250 Kts with Idle throttles at approx 2100 FPM (Clean)
would one use Rate of Descent to maintain M0.74 / 250 Kts using Idle Throttle ??
OR..
Would you Maintain -2100 FPM @ M0.74/250 Kts using a small amount of thrust ?
I'm in the process of creating a Classic 737-100/200 simulation and unless I have my drag figures all wrong one or the other above is neccassary at the moment.. do I have too much drag dialled in perhaps ?
