Hi.
I see David Cameron open the new A350 wing factory at Hawarden this morning. Question please? Looking at Google Earth, where is the dock for the A380 wings to be shipped to Bordeaux and where is the dock there, please? I fly into Bordeaux often but have never seen the barge or the dock. Just curious.
Cheers....

Hi Mode7,

I think the wing is taken to Mostyn docks (about 5 miles away) and loaded on to the barge.

The bits go by barge from Pauillac north of BOD to Langon to the south, after which it's a slow road to Blagnac.
