There is no corruption in the Canadian Government.:=

The Minister of Labour is apparently above the law and on the side of big business.

Now would she do this if it were WestJet or Porter?

If it were First Air serving our Canadian North I could understand but then again WestJet, AC, Jazz, AT, etc would open up some charter business. There are more than enough airlines in Canada to cover a stoppage of Air Canada.

Maybe the CIRB should look into the Minister of Labour travel tickets on Air Canada since her tenure or the both F/A’s and Pilot’s Union should subpoena her travel documents because the latter is next.

Effectively the Minister of Labour has taken away labour’s right to strike.

"The beatings will continue until moral improves"

The employees are already angry as hell after 10 years of concessions. Now their right to strike is taken away, will moral improve? Will service improve? Will MP's luggage end up in the newly enlarged Hong Kong lost baggage room?

I thought we elected a government that had faith in the "free market" to solve these problems. Why does this stink of "big government"?
