This from an article about the most recent organized labour antics at Air Canada:

"The starting salary for a flight attendant is $18,000 a year, which union members complain puts them below the poverty line."

Anyone care to share what they made the first time they put their shiny new Commercial license to use?

I'll go first: $8400 a year and a place to sleep (free!) in an unheated trailer behind the hangar.
