Here is a recent press release from Aer-Rianta (airport managers),
Over 13.8 million passengers were handled at Dublin Airport in 2000, an increase of 8% over the previous year. European traffic performed exceptionally well, up 17% on 1999 to 4.6 million passengers. This increase reflects the introduction of a number of new routes during the year to Munich, Stockholm, Budapest, Bucharest and Billund. Dublin-UK traffic rose by 3% over 1999 figures to 7.4m passengers dismissing reports that traffic growth on this sector is stagnating. Increased frequency on existing routes plus additional new routes show that the Transatlantic market grew by 17% reaching almost 1m passengers. Domestic traffic performed well increasing by 8% to 661,129 passengers and Transit traffic increased by 5% to 152,040. For the 8th consecutive year passenger traffic at Dublin Airport increased by 1 million passengers.
