Hi!
Just a curiosity, how many atcos (operational) are at Heathrow Tower?
And how many work in each shift? I suppose that you work 6 on 4 off. It's just to compare with us in Spain.
Thanks in advance.

65 operational ATCOs,
including a few on maternity leave and without medicals, but not including another 5 office based ATCOs who still hold validations.

This is for 6 controller positions and 1 supervisor.

Did you have to work 29 hours a day to get paid a halfpenny a lifetime too?

Thanks so much for your replies Gonzo. Just one more thing, do you work 6 on 4 off, and are the supervisors operative atcos?
Gracias.

It was the daily whipping, followed by licking the runways clean, that I enjoyed the most.
