Thanks

No authority on it, don't think there is any ones that big.
The Twin Otter and the Super Goose come in at 5670kg MTOW.
There has been a DC3 on floats, and some DC3s have had turbines put on them, not the 2 combined though I don't think.

Grumman Mallard with a turbine conversion.
Check out the new Dornier Sea-star.

Seastar mtow 4600kg, but looks like the Mallard fits the bill, not many around though looking at Wiki with the hefty price tag when converted to turbine.

Martin JRM Mars, mtow 74,800 kg, only 2 aircraft are left in existence.

If you want to go Jet then there is the Beriev A-40 Albatros at 86ton and the
Ilyushin-76TD waterbomber which has a 42,000 litre capacity, but not sure if the latter is amphibious :E

The Il 76TD is "only" ground based. The A40 is quite impressive, but only 2 prototypes were build, however Beriew builds the smaller Be-200/210 which is still in production (if you order one) and a quite modern design, with FBW, a choice of western or russian engines and the ability to take water in during flight (12t in 18 seconds) as well as a pressurized cabin. Have her seen a few times including water bombing demonstrations, quite impressive to be honest. Search on youtube and you will find more than enough clips about it. The 210 is a transport variant, but i have no idea if one was build yet.

The plane is marketed by an EADS (EADS IRKUT Seaplane (http://irkutseaplane.com/)) joint venture nowadays and has been certified by EASA as a firefighter plane with the help of airbus. MTOW is somewhere around 40t depending on version, options and operating environment.

Guys,

Could someone also list a few turbo props heavier than 5700kg for land ops? Apart from atr's and dash. Also I'd prefer aircrafts which are available in the market and still in production.

Cheers
