When you get your CPL with 150 hours or whatever it is...What type of jobs are these pilots employed in? Is there much demand for low hour CPL pilots? What type of planes air they allowed to fly?
Regards
Mike

Not a heck of a lot, I'm afraid. Here in Canada a CPL will get you banner-towing or traffic spotting in cities, there are some bush jobs for fly-in resorts and such but it's mostly minimum wage stuff. The real jobs won't be within reach until you're rated for multi-engine and IFR. Best bet to build time and make some cash is to get your instructor ticket- not much money there either but at least you can live on it.

Same in the USA: Banner Towing, Traffic Reports, Sightseeing within 25 (I believe) NM of the airport, and Instructing.

All of the above put you "in the game" with daily contact with others who may be able to help further your career if you present yourself properly...
