Help. I am at present tearing my hair out, trying to understand mass and balance. Could anyone enlighten me on whether or not passenger baggage is included in payload.

Are you kidding? If your serious they avg out the weight at 200 or 220 depending on what country. by that I mean you and your luggage weigh 200 or 220 on avg. Even if you weigh 110 with a 5 pound carry on they count you as 200.
