Thinking about non-revving from SEA-ANC-SEA on Alaska next June with my family (four of us). I see there are flights every hour during this time of year. However, this is peak travel season in Alaska and wondering if it would just be easier to buy tickets. Anybody got any suggestions or experience with this? Thanks!

The flights are full much of the time. Alaska may increase frequency in the summer. If it is absolutely critical the four of you fly on the same jet at a set time, then non-reving may not work for you.

But Alaska probably has another jet departing in 30 or 40 minutes for Anchorage, so if you can split up a bit it shouldn't be a problem. If you can occupy the jump seat then that opens up another cabin seat for the family.

Alaska also has late departures 22:30 local & later for PANC. You may have a better chance on getting four seats on one of the "red-eyes".

Thanks Northbeach!

Living so far from AK and having never flown Alaska, that info helps a lot. Might just go ahead and bite the bullet and buy some tickets. Nothing like knowing we are all going to get on the plane together.
