Since Funchal has now been re-named 'Maderia Airport', and the ICAO Airport Identifier has been changed from LPFU to LPMA, I was wondering if anyone knew if the three-letter IATA code for this place had been changed as well, or is it still 'FNC'??

MAD would be ideal! Don't know if its being used though. What is the IATA for Madrid? Had a guy on Ground yesterday say "we're going to Funchal not Madeira"

Jeppesen charts still call it LPFU/Funchal. They were calling themselves Maderia Approach/Tower, yesterday.
