What are the duties of a fleet manager and a fleet technical captain?

I work for a small charter and sked company and we don`t have those positions. All we have is a CP and DFO.

Those positions are usually in-house positions and as such different for each company, therefore the advise to check the relevant ops manual as those usually hold the description for those positions (and all other flight ops positions including flight deck and cabin crew).

He is responsible for co-ordination and communication between the Flight Crew and the Maintenance regarding all technical matters and has to assure a competent dialogue in all technical matters with the maintenance .
