It's easy enough to self-study for the ARB. Best examiner around, who also has access to aircraft, is the CP of Eastern Airways, at HUY. His name is Geoff Wallis. He will also be able to advise you on the cost.

AFAIK there are no J31/32 sims this side of the Atlantic...

If you contact BAe, I would suggest you don't use the examiner they tend to use on an ad-hoc basis. No names, no pack drill. :)

Strong Winds, if you are in fact in Argentina then I would recommend that you go to the USA to obtain the type rating. Unless you are already in the UK, or specifically need the type rating on a UK licence then I suggest the UK would be the least convenient and most expensive place you could go.

Try FlightSafety in San Antonio or AmeriFlight in California for the Metro III.

ARBs are no more. It is all TRTO now, mucho expensive! If you do not need a UK rating, then do not do it here, if you do need a UK rating then you have no choice, the CAA will not recognise non TRTO ratings.
