Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, so please move if not:
I've an FAA CPL (single & Multi-Engine) and an Instrument airplane rating. Have only 270 hrs total time and now want to do my CFI and probably also my CFII and MEI.

I plan to do all the Knowledge test on my own, but for the practical part I need a school. Where can I do my CFI the cheapest and fastest (including living expenses)?

Thanks,
Antoni

and something I forget, because I know you need something like 15hours PIC in the plane you take the checkride: These 15hours have to be in a complex airplane and PIC

I have only 2hours in a complex as a PIC and that's in a Twin (Beechcraft Duchess 76)

So I'll still need to do the 15 hours? That'll be the most expensive part of my training?

ok, so far this are the schools I've found so far:

Commercial Pilot - FlightSafety Academy (http://www.flightsafetyacademy.com/career/commercial.php)
Naples Air Center - FAA Part 61 - Flight Instructor (http://www.naples-air-center.com/index.php?view=35)
ATP Flight School: CFI Program (http://www.atpflightschool.com/programs/certificates/cfi/cfi_program.html)
JAA ATPL Ground School Class in Texas | Skymates (http://www.skymates.com/)
Flight School, Pilot Training in Florida - Phoenix East Aviation Flight School | Phoenix East Aviation (http://www.pea.com/)

Do you know them? Do you have any experience with them? I mean in the aspect of CFI schools and not for PPL or CPL schools.

For your MEI you need have the 15 hours PIC in multi aircraft, and then to instruct on a multi aircraft you have to have logged 5 hours PIC.

Iv only heard about the ATP CFI course from what iv heard its a bit hit or miss,

Dont forget you need to do FOI written test too unless you have a Degree then I think you can skip it.

Corpus Collosum, I think you can skip the FOI test if you have a teaching certificate (which most people get from a University if they want to become a teacher), not just a degree

I recommend Accelerated Private Pilot Flight Training and Instruction With Cessna and McAir (http://www.mcairaviation.com/) , McAir Aviation in Colorado
and I have heard good things about Chandler Air Service Chandler Air Service (http://www.aerobatics.com)
both do Visas
