Anybody else having issues with their BT Home Hub 3?

I am getting lots of dropped packets when pinging google, bbc, etc.

No, more likely to be noise on your line I would have thought, any crackling obvious on the phone? I've always found their help line very good at sorting out problems starting with a line check.

My experience with the BT 0800 help line is generally very good. Maybe one person in 3 or 4 is useless, but the others are much better, and genuinely want to help..

However, if you have a really intractable problem, as I did at one stage, and the issue is beyond 1st line support's ability to help, then write to the BT CEO.

it works, I emailed him on a Saturday lunchtime over a billing problem that was not getting resolved. Email back from him that evening and a call from someone who could sort it first thing Monday morning. I was impressed by the response.
