What happens if you forget to log out from pprune?
Last week I was away, and when I visited the site again after a few days I realised I had been logged on all that time.
Since the front door hasn't been knocked down by the police and I haven't had any silent 'phone calls, I assume that it isn't too drastic.
However, does it bugger up Danny's day?

Well, if it's your own computer then not a great deal - you just won't need to login next time. However, problems arise with shared connections. Say you login from an Internet Cafe or somewhere similar. If you forget to logout subsequent people who visit PPRuNe using that computer will be able to post messages using your username.

If you do forget to log off from a public machine then as soon as you can log in to PPRuNe from anywhere and change your password. This will effectively log off any other machine logged in as you.

I've found that IF I don't log off, I am automatically logged off after 48? hours.
Sorry for any probs, and thanx for [lack of] "bum booting" :D
