Embraer 190 Headset - Calling all drivers!

Is the flight deck noise suitable for a light headset or do you need a David Clark heavy clamp headset? ANR etc??

Depends on your idea of noisy. A lightweight ANR should be perfectly acceptable. The worst noise seems to be from the flight deck bleed air/recirc fan combination. External noise is quite bearable.

We use the Sennheiser(?) ANR, not the most comfortable but does the job noise wise

[Piltdown Man]

A lightweight ANR headset should do the job. But the most irritating thing is the location of the headset socket, so make sure you have a clip for the lead.
