Hi Guys,

I'm just reading in my 737NG FCOM Volume 1. And in the paragraph about the Noise Abatement Takeoff it says explictely:

"NADP2 may not be used if the N-1 acceleration height is above 1500 ft HAA"

Does anyone of you know at which airport/runway combination the operator prescribes the crew to use an engine out acceleration altitude greater than 1500ft? I am very curious, merely from a "wanting to know everything about aircraft performance point of view"!!

Many thanks,

Any airport surrounded by obstacles requiring the OEI climb to be at V2 to a higher height. Aspen, CO, USA comes to mind right away, but Chambery, FR is also a possibility.

For both - who is going to follow a NADP2 engine out? In my book, Noise Abate is not required. Therefore you are only concerned about 'normal' departures where/if the accel is published as above 1500'?
