Over here much discussion has taken place over how to improve the airport. Apart from a new Terminal Building it has been suggested that the priority should be a longer runway and all weather landing facilities.

Anyone who flies here have any comments?

Thanks

Longer and wider would be nice(the runway as well). Mind you , you lot don't appear to be able to keep what you have got in a good state of repair , never mind eh?
I don't think you've got enough room for cat 2 ops , and most of the time the wx is either flyable or totally unflyable , so unless you had cat 3(no chance) the added expense of upgrading to cat2 would not be worth it.Hope you had a good xmas , regards to all.
Mind you , you could do Alderney a favour and give it a "real" runway for Xmas!!

Cat 2!!! Forget it!!!!!

The minimas were raised by 90' and 100m last year due to previous mis-measurement of local features.
