Cathay's Slosar Interview from March 10 - Video - Bloomberg (http://www.bloomberg.com/video/67478150/)

I watched this and listened very carefully. It sounds like a fake/muddled British accent. He's an American, No? I was like oh brother! I guess I will be eating my words soon.

One cannot stress higly enough, that when slouching in the 'Club' on a winged chesterfield chair, that a chap has to have the accent to 'fit-in' don't you know....

John Slosar - Degrees from Columbia University (oh how colonial!) and Cambridge University (do come in old chap, pull up a large cigar)

Sounds like a Kiwi to me but I couldn't find anything on a quick Google that shows where he may have been born and educated.

J.S. is an American, but university educated in the UK. In addition to that, he has been working with/for the British for his entire working life. Makes sense he has picked up a slight accent.

You don't get into the inner circle at the Swire Group unless you are tall, slender, and British (or at least sound British)!

Now, I no longer think I can look at PPRune. That is way more disturbing than our check and training department(s). I need to seek therapy after that!:yuk:
