I'm unhappy with my weather theory knowledge (perhaps a result of the facy that I've been getting FAA certificates). Can anyone recommend some books that they used for the CAA or JAA weather theory books (or some more practical books) of the type

this cloud + this wind + this front = this weather (with an explanation of why it is so)?

I found Mike Wickson's "Meteorology for Pilots"(second edition)useful. That was for studying the ATPLs though. It wasn't too hard to follow.Depends what level you want as this book covers world climatology aswell.
