Dear All
I am scheduled for a flight from Dubai to Mauritious; i am not familiar with the area, checked the relevant H/L charts and it is stated that you have to establish contact 10 minutes prior to entering mogadishu uir, seychelles uir and mauritious uir.
What would be the proper phraseology to be used and at which intervals are the position reports to be made on the 126.9 frequency? - 10 minutes prior to waypoint, 10 minutes prior to joining airway, 3 to 5 minutes prior to change FL, just prior to changing FL and upon reaching FL, what about if deviating due to weather?
and what if communication prior to entering uir can not be established with any center'
Any advice will be greatly appriciated even regarding SELCAL ops in that corner of the world.
