Evacuation Flight!!!

Ever heard of an 'evacuation fligth', anybody? What is it?

A pilot requested for priority landing saying that it was an evacuation flight. I have never heard of such a flight before. Does anyone know what that is?

Correction i missed out a very important word in the question, which is the real reason for the confusion.

The correct question what is a 'passenger evacuation flight'?
Passenger evacuation flight is what the pilot said, not evacuation flight.

Same as a medical evacuation flight? They've got a sick person on board and need to get them to hospital ASAP.
