Would appreciate if anyone could enlighten me if US FAA pilot's license consider ICAO? I have checked that USA is a member state of the ICAO but yet some company I applied for job advertised for ICAO license requirements but did not accept US licenses. All help appreciated.
cheers!

USA is a signatory to ICAO. Its licence is an ICAO licence.
As for not accepting it that's the company's decision. The US may have registered a number of differences to ICAO that are disliked by that company.

thanks tinstaafl,

REQUIREMENTS:
1)ICAO ATPL
2)xxxx hours
3)etc,etc,etc.
thanks again.

An ICAO licence is one issued in accordance with Annex 1 of the "CHICAGO" convention. It don't get more American than that.
