Click on weather then type in EGPF the ICAO designator for GLA the forcast says 260/25 gusting 40 I do not know what your background is but that means the wind direction is 260 or really Westerly at 25 knots gusting to a maximum of 40 kts.

Now ,runways at GLA are 23 and 05 so you will be landing on runway 23 the most into wind runway.

To factor the wind ,it is coming from 30 degrees of the right hand side thus use 1/3rd of the peak gust to get the worst x-wind that about 13-14 knots, if it were us we would be landing at GLA as normal ,not saying it would be easy !!!

Flow rate may be slowed down but should not cause significant delays.

Hope this helps may be someone else would like to comment.

Thanks for the info Bap Man - 13-14kt cross wind component should not give too many problems. Just checked the wx again and the forecast calls for 35kt gusts so it looks like its moderating. I'll report back and let you know how we got on! Thanks again
